ABOUT ORGANISATION

Nashik Hrudaymitra Sevabhavi Sanstha is NGO committed to support poor and needy children of north Maharashtra suffering from Congenital Heart Diseases. We reach the remote rural places of north Maharashtra by conducting diagnostic camps. The children are screened and those who are diagnosed with heart ailments are treated at tertiary heart care center by expert and experienced cardiologists completely free of cost. The ailing child and his/her caretakers are provided with all necessary requirements i.e. Travel, Stay, Food by us. Till now we have treated thousands of children but still we need to reach many with the help of general Philanthropists from the society. We appeal to all the blessed people of the society to be the part of this mission by way of taking care of expenses of one or more needy children for their treatment. It will be a great service to the humanity.

Background: Since 2006 onward Nashik Hrudhay Mitra Sevabhavi Sanstha has aggressively started to work on heart diseases in children and adults by looking after the heart diseases ratio in North Maharashtra.

Dr. Manoj Chopda founder of Nashik Hrudhay Mitra Sevabhavi Sanstha has done more than 150 device closures, more than 3000 Angioplasties, more than 100 pin hole surgeries till 2006, come to the understanding that North Maharashtra people are really suffered with the heart diseases and cannot afford the treatment for the same.

Low socioeconomic people and children who cannot afford the treatment for heart diseases leads to increase mortality which is really big threat for the society The basic problem of society for cardiac diseases is the expensive treatment cost So he decided to have a trust under which we can screen such patients and treat them at various charitable hospitals and Government hospitals like Saibaba sansthan Hospital Shirdi and Sandarbha Seva Government Hospital, Nashik.

Our Vision

Children with congenital Heart Diseases are very large in number which is around more than 5000 in North Maharashtra & till date we worked free of cost for these children who can not afford costly treatment for their disease & to give new life to such children was our main vision of this program.

Mr. Amit Sagar Kochar is an associate member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a renowned Practicing CS in Nashik. Mr. Amit also holds a degree of BSL L.L.B. awarded by University of Pune in the year 2004. Currently he is The Chairman of Nashik Chapter of Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He is a motivated and creative individual with the experience of more than 10 years in his field and has also participated actively in various charitable programmes organized in and around Nashik.

Mr. Nileshkumar Mohanlal Kochar is a consultant in Financial Management. He is also a well known Real Estate Consultant in Nashik with an experience of more than 10 years in his field. He is a Commerce Graduate (B.com) and has also completed MBA in Marketing. Mr. Nileshkumar is an enthusiastic and a social person and a dedicated human towards betterment of society.

Completed MBBS from BJ Medical College, University of Pune, India in 1987 & MD (Medicine) from BJ Medical College, University of Pune, India in 1990, DM (Cardiology) from Grant Medical College, University of Mumbai, India in 1994. Established Chopda Medicare & Research Centre Nashik in 1996. Pioneered the work of Interventional Cardiology in Nashik in Coronary Angiography, Coronary Angioplasties, Balloon Mitral Volvotomy, Device Closures i.e. VSD, ASD, PDA, and Intra Cardiac Defibrillator.
Established Cardiac units at Wockhardt Hospital Nashik, SandarbhSevaRugnalaya Nashik, Rajebahhadur Hospital Nashik &Sai Baba Hospital Shirdi. After working in various cardiac setups in Maharashtra; started to set up the Art facility 75 bedded hospital called Magnum Heart Institute Nashik in 2010. Performed 45,000 procedures including Coronary Angiography, 8,000 Percutaneous Trans luminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), 3000 device closure in pediatrics, more than 850 Pacemaker implant& more than 15 BaloonVulvulotomy& Intra Cardiac Defibrillator implant. Performed 14 Pin Hole surgeries in Children with 4 kg weight and above in a day Performed 39 cases in a day which holds a National Record, at Saibaba Hospital, Shirdi. Professor in Medicine at NDMVP College Nashik since 2000 Author of Marathi book named “HridayroganiAapan”more than 24 edition, more than 50,000 copies were sold till date. Writing weekly article on Heart Disease and Aliments in newspaper. Attending National & International conferences since last 18 years. Published more than 15 international and more than 10 National Papers. WHY CHILDRENS HEART

In 24 Years of practice when Dr Chopda come across the situation that adult population is suffering with heart diseases but children of north Maharashtra are also suffering with congenital heart diseases & that to in very high number & due to which mortality ratio of such children is very high to treat adults there are many centers & experts but to treat such children there is no Proper Centre & experts in North Maharashtra so to fulfill this need Nashik Hrudhay Mitra sevabhavi Sanstha & Dr Chopda together started to work for such poor & needy children of North Maharashtra & since 2006 more than 2000 diseased children undergone treatment free of cost.
